I can’t believe I’m saying this but this post is to let you know about the release of my first book!

My life truly is a testimony of God’s Love as I’m sure yours is!
 

As I’ve been writing this book for a few months now, God has performed a lot of healing and promoted much humility in my heart. Sometimes what we think we desire in life starts out as an attempt to be known and accepted in a world where as quickly as you are accepted you can also be rejected.

God has given us all gifts and talents to share but we find they can be tainted by the world’s opinions.  In this book I bear my soul and share a part of my life’s journey of sometimes being referred to as a “girl-singer.”  I’ve battled releasing this because bearing your soul isn’t always easy but I feel God wants me to tell my story of my journey of becoming and understanding who He made me to be.

I’ve struggled with thoughts of, “Who do you think you are writing a book?” And... “This is just ridiculous!”
But the best way I can answer these questions in my mind is through the lyrics of this Casting Crowns/Matthew West song...
 

“I'm just a nobody trying to tell everybody
All about Somebody who saved my soul.
Ever since You rescued me,
You gave my heart a song to sing.
I'm living for the world to see nobody but Jesus.”

 

I pray that sharing my story will help others realize God’s love in ways they never imagined.
